Description

A type of omega 6 fatty acid which is a safe fat burner and contains no stimulants or unhealthy weightloss or performance enhancing ingredients. It reduces fat storage by inhibiting fat storage enzymes, utilises fat as energy by activating lipase enzymes and enhances endurance performance and energy levels.

Product Composition
Each softgel capsule contains the following as active ingredient:

CLA (80% Pure – High in Trans-10 CLA) 1000mg
Inactive ingredients: Purified water, glycerin and gelatin.

Store in a cool dry place below 25ºC. Keep out of the reach of children

Pharmacological Action
Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) refers to a group of conjugated dienoic isomers of linoleic acid. Different isomers seem to have different physiological effects. Researchers believe that CLA helps with weight loss by promoting apoptosis in adipose tissue. Animal studies suggest that CLA may be beneficial to the immune system by increased IgG, IgM, and IgA production in the spleen cells

Dosage Directions
Fat loss: Take 1 softgel capsule three times per day, 30 minutes before meals. CLA is only effective for fat-burning and weight loss, if combined with at least 45 minutes of moderate exercise 3-4 times a week. Toning and with exercise: Take 2 softgel capsules twice daily, 30 minutes before meals.

Product Warnings
Men with abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome can develop hyperproinsulinemia and insulin resistance. Do not exceed recommended dosages unless on the advice of a health care provider. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If you are on any medication or suffering from any medical condition, it is advisable to seek medical advice before starting any new medicine, supplement or remedy.

Side Effects
Side effects may include nausea, diarrhoea, loose stools, heartburn and fatigue.

Contraindications
Diabetes: CLA should not be used in individuals suffering from diabetes as it may increase insulin resistance and glucose levels. Liver disorders: Avoid in individuals with liver disorders.

Product Interactions
Vitamin A: CLA may increase vitamin A (retinol) storage in the liver and breast tissues.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.
