Pharmacological Action

Silymarin is composed of six major flavonolignans, each of which may contribute to silymarin’s hepato-protective properties. Antioxidant or free radical-antagonising actions from flavonoids present in milk thistle have been cited as a likely mechanism of action of milk thistle.

Product Composition

Each capsule contains the following active ingredient:

Silymarin Milk Thistle Extract (supplying 200 mg silymarin) 250mg

Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatine free), microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.

Sugar-free.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Dosage Directions

Adults:
Take 1 capsule three times a day. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects.
