Homoeophatic Mode of Action
Chininum arsenicosum relieves profuse, runny nose, post-nasal drip and throbbing headache in the frontal and occipital regions. Neuralgic pain above the eyes with light sensitivity and excessive watering eyes are relieved by this remedy. Chininum arsenicosum also has a detoxification action when the tongue is yellow, slimy or fur-covered.

Ferrum phosphoricum has an anti-inflammatory action and treats head colds, excessive mucus, inflamed eyes, throbbing, pulsating headaches, the first stage of ear ache and ulcerated, sore throat.

Mercurius solubilis acts on the lymphatic system to treat frequent sneezing, loss of voice, burning throat pain and raw nostrils from excessive acrid, watery mucus production in the upper respiratory tract. It also relieves light sensitivity with profuse, acrid, burning tears from the eyes.

Cinnabaris relieves profuse, fluent nasal discharges with itching in the nasal passages, bouts of sneezing, redness of the eyes with pain from the tear ducts and pressure headaches.
