Description

Trimethylglycine (TMG), also known as Betaine, from NeuroActive is a natural compound found in beetroot and other plants, that assists with healthy homocysteine levels which may support physical performance, endurance, and overall heart health.

Betaine assists with many chemical processes within the body which is essential for DNA production. TMG converts homocysteine (a type of amino acid associated with increased heart disease) into another compound called methionine which improves overall heart health. TMG may also boost protein production and increase the synthesis of creatine, providing energy while participating in demanding physical activities. TMG works closely with other nutrients like choline, folic acid, and vitamin B12. TMG is naturally found in Wheat bran, spinach, quinoa, beets, shrimp, and wheat bread.
