Description
Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC) is an amino acid naturally found in the body. Acetyl-L-Carnitine-PLC™ contains two of the most effective forms of ALC, namely ALC-arginate and Propionyl-L-Carnitine (PLC).
These assist with protection against heart and brain aging, and age-related memory decline.
Pharmacological Action
Carnitines play an important role in lipid metabolism and energy production. They are essential for normal mitochondrial function, acting as a transporter of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria for beta-oxidation. Propionyl-L-Carnitine may have a positive inotropic effect and improve ventricular function and cardiac output in chronic heart failure. Arginine is the physiological precursor of nitric oxide and it significantly decreases mean systolic blood pressure.

Dosage Directions
Adults:
Take 1 – 2 capsules twice daily on an empty stomach, before 4 pm.
