The herbal extracts in Progast® Gastrointestinal Support Drops were selected because of their similar purpose, targeting different symptoms. One herb has a primary function, the others either facilitate that function or counterbalance any possible negative reaction. And not only are the presenting symptoms attended to, but also the underlying constitutional imbalances that give rise to them.
As a general rule, the action of a single herb does not usually meet the requirements for the treatment of a complex condition, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Typically, combinations of, for example, aromatic and bitter substances are used in synergy.
Progast® Gastrointestinal Support Drops is a natural remedy for digestive complaints. Nearly everyone experiences some sort of gastrointestinal discomfort at some point or another. Digestive diseases range from common digestive disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), to serious, life-threatening diseases.
Tablets versus tincture
Tablets take time to break down and dissolve before their active ingredients can start working. The ten natural plant extracts in Progast® Drops are already dissolved in a liquid formula, which means the body can absorb them straight away. Progast® Drops with its advanced gut signalling action, supports serotonergic and cholinergic function for healthy gut motility.
Alcohol is a necessary ingredient in some liquid herbal medicines, including Progast® Drops, because it helps extract and dissolve the herbal components. The alcohol in Progast® Drops also works as a preservative. A single adult dose of 20 drops contains only a small amount of alcohol, just 0.24 g. By comparison, an average glass of apple juice contains more alcohol than Progast® Drops, approximately 0.3 g to 0.7 g of alcohol.
Dosage:
ALWAYS ADMINISTER DILUTED IN WATER.
| Adults and children over 12 years: | Take 20 drops (1,0 ml) 3 times a day. |
| Children 6 – 12 years: | Give 15 drops (0,75 ml) 3 times a day. |
| Children 3 – 5 years: | Give 10 drops (0,5 ml) 3 times a day. |
| Children 3 months – 3 years: | Give 8 drops (0,4 ml) 3 times a day. |
| Infants under 3 months: | Give 6 drops (0,3 ml) 3 times a day. |
Directions for use:
SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE USE.
Remove the screw cap, turn the bottle upside down, hold at an angle of 45 degrees and give a slight shake. Count the number of drops and mix with a small quantity of room temperature water (30 ml to 60 ml) or any drink of your choice. Progast® Drops should be taken before or with meals, three times a day.
