Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea drink commonly consumed for its purported health benefits. Sometimes the beverage is called kombucha tea to distinguish it from the culture of bacteria and yeast.
Kombucha is best made with Green Tea for higher antioxidant properties compared to Black Tea.
The Gaia Kombucha Kit comprises of a starter “baby” symbiont (SCOBY) in 250ml ready-made kombucha juice (vinegar) in a sealed bottle, plus 25 organic green tea bags (1 sachet) and an instructional pamphlet on how to make your own Kombucha.
