Dukkah is a nut and spice blend, originally from Egypt. Traditionally used as an appetiser mixed with olive oil in which to dip crusty bread, dukkah can be used extensively in cooking. Sprinkle over roasted vegetables, salads, mushrooms, soft cheeses, hummus, soup, yoghurt, eggs and avocado on toast. Use to enliven cooked meat, poultry, fish and tofu.
Usage: To season and add layers of flavour to good food.
