JPRO – Protein Banana Bread 150g

If you love banana bread and want a healthier version with a protein boost. Here’s a simple recipe for Protein Banana Bread that’s both delicious and nutritious:

Protein Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Ripe bananas
  • Protein powder (choose your favorite flavor)
  • Baking powder
  • Flour (options include white all-purpose, whole grain spelt, oat flour, or some gluten-free mixes)
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Liquid sweetener of your choice
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: Regular or Greek yogurt, chocolate chips or walnuts, ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan and optionally line the bottom with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas using a fork.
  4. Whisk in the remaining wet ingredients (protein powder, liquid sweetener, vanilla extract, and yogurt if using).
  5. Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) to the same bowl. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Spread the protein banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for approximately 40 minutes. After baking, turn off the oven but leave the bread inside for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. If needed, cover the top with foil and bake for an extra 5-10 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  9. Let the banana bread cool completely before removing it from the pan.
