Description
An extract from the Pistacia tree. It kills Candida albicans fungus (thrush infections) and Helicobacter pylori bacteria which is implicated in peptic and other ulcers.
Mastic gum is useful for intestinal cramps, indigestion and heartburn. It also counteracts damage to the gastric mucosa caused by aspirin and other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).
Pharmacological Action
The gastrointestinal benefits of Mastic Gum may be due to decreased production of inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-alpha, ICAM-1, interleukin (IL)-6, and IL-8.
Product Composition
Each capsule contains the following active ingredient:
Mastic Gum | 333mg |
Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose, magnesium stearate, magnesium silicate,
microcrystalline cellulose.
Sugar-free.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Dosage Directions
Adults:
Take 1 – 2 capsules three times daily, or as advised by your healthcare provider.
For use beyond 4 weeks, consult your healthcare practitioner.
